Bob Gilreath was elected in November 2008 to represent the residents of District 3 in Spalding County. This is his first term on the Spalding County Board of  Commissioners and his first elective office.

Commissioner Gilreath resides in Griffin, Georgia and is retired. Prior to his retirement he worked in broadcasting beginning in North Carolina and later in Dublin and more recent WHIE in Griffin.

Commissioner Gilreath was employed many years with Treasure Chest Advertising and was the owner and founder of The Pike County Reporter newspaper and held the position of Associate Editor of the Dublin Courier Herald and Advertising Director of the Cordele Daily Dispatch.

Bob takes great pride in growing flowers, tomatoes and working in his yard.
