In partnership with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and the City of Griffin, Spalding County staff has kicked off a planning process to identify opportunities to better promote economic development and improve freight operations within the County. The Plan will build on the current business climate within the County based on regional trends and best practices. The Plan is scheduled for completion in June 2020.
Below please find a project schedule with the overall tasks and milestones for engagement. As shown, the key upcoming milestones will include the following:
- Spring 2020 – Present the results of the traffic study and gather input on a universe of improvements to develop recommendations
- Early Summer 2020 – Present the draft recommendations for comment
