Spalding County is pleased to announce that renovations to the Meeting Room, Room 108, at the Spalding County Annex located at 119 E. Solomon Street, Griffin, Georgia will begin on July 14th, 2017. Renovations should take approximately 60 days to complete. William Wilson, County Manager, stated that the renovations have been needed for quite some time the last time this room was renovated was in 1992. The new space will better accommodate the meetings that are held at this location. The Meeting Room renovations will include new chairs, carpet and paint along with a video recording system that will allow for recording of meetings which will be posted to the website for viewing. The City of Griffin has granted use of the W. Elmer George Municipal Hall located at One Griffin Center, Griffin, Georgia to accommodate the following County meetings:
