A public Open House for the Spalding County Comprehensive Plan will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Room 108 of the Spalding County Courthouse Annex located at 119 East Solomon Street, Griffin (across from the County Courthouse). The open house will be conducted from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The format allows attendees to arrive and participate at any time between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm that is convenient as a formal presentation will not be given.

The Comprehensive Plan’s draft goals, strategies and future development map will be on display. The public will have the opportunity to interact with county staff and provide comments and feedback. Please plan to attend.

“We need the public’s input once again to ensure that this plan reflects the needs and wishes of the people who will be living and working in Spalding County,” said Chad Jacobs, Spalding County Community Development Director.
