SPALDING COUNTY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY / EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:

August 20th, 2019

September is National Preparedness month and serves as a reminder that every resident of Spalding County should take action to prepare, now and throughout the year, for the types of emergencies that could affect us where we live, work, learn and worship. The Spalding County Office of Homeland Security / Emergency Management asks that everyone take the time to talk about being ready and preparing for the unexpected and advise the theme for 2019 will be:

Glenn Polk, Director of the Spalding County Office of Homeland Security / Emergency Management states that, “the importance of a Family Emergency Plan cannot be over emphasized. All family members may not be together during an emergency or disaster, so it is vital to have a plan to address potential situations and how it can be addressed.”
