Due to erosion from recent rain storms, and the current condition of the bridge on Jordan Hill Road north of Teamon Road, the Spalding County Public Works Department will be conducting necessary repairs. For safety the of our residents, equipment and personnel it will be necessary to close the road for approximately 10 hours per day on:

Monday, July 22nd and Tuesday July 23rd
From 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Should the repairs require additional time or resources there is a possibility the bridge could be closed an additional day, on Wednesday, July 24th. The road will reopen after 5:00 p.m. each day.

The detour for Jordan Hill Road will be as follows:

Motorists traveling north on Jordan Hill Road, towards Henry County will need to turn Left to Teamon Road, Right onto North Pomona Road, Right onto Boynton Road, and then Left back onto Jordan Hill Road.

Motorist traveling south from Henry County will need to turn Right onto Boynton Road, Left onto North Pomona Road, then Left onto Teamon Road and then Right back onto Jordan Hill Road.

Detour signs and barricades will be in place during repairs.
