Radon, an odorless, tasteless, invisible gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States. Of the homes tested for radon gas in Spalding County, 29% – 35% had unhealthy levels. Learn how you can protect yourself and your family from this potential health risk. UGA Radon Educator, Derek Cooper will explain radon, the health risks associated with radon gas and answer any questions you might have about radon. Radon home testing kits will be available for purchase.
