County employees enrolled in the UGA Management Development Program collected 1,340 pounds of non-perishable food items in Fayette, Spalding, Newton, Fulton, Coweta and Sumter Counties for the Midwest Food Bank this holiday season.
The Management Development Program is a 20 week leadership development training program for Department Heads and mid-level managers. The Class of 2017 includes 18 county employees representing six Georgia counties.
The Mid West Food Bank – Georgia Division is located in Peachtree City, GA and the food collected will be shared with over 200 non-profit organizations located in 42 counties.
