Spalding County 4-H Hippology Team won top honors at the State Competition held on April 29th. Hippology allows competitors to demonstrate the breadth of their knowledge and understanding of equine science and management and in particular the practical application of this knowledge and skill.

Team members include (front row) Martha Hicks and Tyler Gibson, (second row) Carly Nash and Dani Gibson. As state winners they earn the title of master 4-H’er. Dani Gibson double mastered by also winning the state high individual award. This team will represent Georgia in competition at Quarter Horse Congress in OH this fall.
