Sponsored by the Dairy Alliance, the 4-H MilkMake Recipe Contest is a Food and Nutrition Activity for Cloverleaf 4-H Students (grades 5 & 6), and Junior 4-H Students (grades 7 & 8). The contest helps students learn more about the nutritional value and versatility of milk while creating delicious milkshake and smoothie recipes. This year – for the first time – Spalding County 4-H held the MilkMake contest and opened enrollment to 5th-8th grade 4-H’ers. T-shirts were awarded to the top three winners in each age division. In the Cloverleaf Division, 1st place went to Shane Perkins, 2nd place to Clair Knapp and 3rd place to Azariah Bowman. In the Junior Division, 1st place went to Kaley Wilder, 2nd place to Gracelyn Fowler, and 3rd place to Kaitlyn Hayes.
