Georgia Department of Agriculture regulations require those selling eggs from backyard flocks to hold an Egg Candler’s certificate among other requirements. GDA personnel will discuss the requirements and lead participants through and egg candling exercise.

• This two-part certificated training ends with successful completion of an egg candling exercise. Attendance and completion of both sessions is required for certification.
