Spalding County Fire Chief Kenny West announced today the promotion of Firefighter Adam Marat. The panel style interview process was conducted with Marat being named to the position.
Lieutenant Marat began his career with the Spalding County Fire Department in December 2008. Throughout his career, Marat has worked to obtain certifications that will benefit the department in his position of Lieutenant including Fire Instructor, Structural Fire Control Instructor and International Trauma Life Support Instructor. Lt. Marat has also worked to obtain his Paramedic certification.
Spalding County Fire Chief Kenny West acknowledged, “Lieutenant Marat has worked extremely hard to be afforded this opportunity with the department. Marat has always been a dedicated member of the department and we look forward to the next chapter in this new role for Adam.”
