A number of local public safety agencies will be participating in the upcoming:

Walmart Safety Day

Agencies schedule to participate include the Spalding County Fire Department and Emergency Management Agency, Spalding County Sheriff’s Office, Griffin Fire Rescue, Griffin Police Department, WellStar Spalding Regional and Safe Kids Spalding.

This event is sponsored by Walmart in recognition of June being National Safety Month. The agencies involved will have personnel present to discuss safety measures and will have equipment on site for the public to view.
