Spalding County is kicking off the season of giving with an essay contest for youth in 4th, 5th and 6th grades. The topic is “Helping others.”

Contest Criteria:

• Must be a Spalding County student in the 4th, 5th or 6th grade.
• Essay is to be minimum of 250 typed words.
• Entries must include student’s name, grade, school and contact information. Home school entries will also be accepted.
• Parent contact information must also be included.

Prize: Top two entries win $100 each and will assist with the Christmas Tree lighting at the festival of Lights at Airport Road on November 20th!

All entries are due by November 9, 2018
