SPALDING COUNTY SELECTS A NEW SENIOR CENTER SUPERVISOR

Spalding County Parks, Public Grounds and Leisure Services has been diligently searching for an individual to serve as the Senior Center Supervisor. Lauren Brown, a native of Griffin, has been selected to fill the position. Ms. Brown has a Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Management and Organizational Leadership and has been a Spalding County employee for 10 years.

Recently, she has served Spalding County as Office Manager for Spalding County Parks, Public Grounds and Leisure Services Department. Ms. Brown is a graduate of the Griffin/Spalding Leadership program and is no stranger to serving in this community.

Mrs. Brown is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Senior Adult Community as Senior Center Supervisor. The skills, talents and experiences she brings to this position will be beneficial to the programs at the Senior Center and she is looking forward to sharing her creative programming ideas with the citizens and staff.

Ms. Brown will begin her new position at the Spalding County Senior Center on Thursday, January 5th, 2017.
