SPALDING COUNTY WATER AND SEWERAGE FACILITIES AUTHORITY IS CONDUCTING A LEAK DETECTION SURVEY

March 5th, 2018

The Spalding County Water & Sewerage Facilities Authority would like advise all Spalding County citizens of a Water System Leak Detection Survey that is currently underway. The survey is being conducted by Matchpoint, Inc., a leading company in water preservation and conservation services.

The purpose of the survey is to identify leaks in the county water system, to include all water mains and service lines. The survey is anticipated to take approximately three months to complete.

Leaks detected during the survey will be repaired, which will reduce water loss, increase system efficiency, and reduce the potential for contamination. Although Matchpoint employees will not enter private property, the survey may also reveal customer leaks between the house and water meter. In the event this type of leak is identified, the customer will be notified so a plumber can be called to repair the line and prevent higher customer water bills.

Spalding County Water & Sewerage Facilities Authority is committed to
providing customers with a safe, reliable, and economic water supply.
