T.J. IMBERGER NAMED VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR BY THE BARNESVILLE LIONS CLUB

T.J. Imberger, Spalding County Parks Superintendent, was named Volunteer of the Year by the Barnesville Lions Club. Mr. Imberger not only enriches the lives of the citizens of Spalding County, he continues to go above and beyond to enrich the lives of his neighbors and friends in Lamar County.

Mr. Imberger was recognized for his selfless dedication to making the Barnesville Community stronger by serving as Chairman of the Chamber’s BBQ & Blues Festival, by working closely with the Chamber’s Summer in the Sticks Concert and the Buggy Days Festival. Additionally, Mr. Imberger is a Girls Scout Leader and is one of the founding members of the Lamar County Family Connection Collaborative.

According to Marshall T. Hooks the President and CEO of the Barnesville-Lamar County Chamber of Commerce, “T.J. is an instrumental member of our community and I don’t know what we would do without him.
